Tokyo Dome City

We didn't get our fill of Christmas lights at Tokyo Tower, so we went to another venue. We went to Tokyo Dome City on Sunday the 9th. (Tokyo Dome is home to the Yomiuri Giants baseball team and the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame. The "city" is all the shopping and attractions around the Dome.) We arrived in the early afternoon before the sun had set. We hoped to stay until the lights came on, but an exhibit at the Dome had the area very busy and crowded. We decided to try again in a few days, but not before Addy got to take a ride on zou-san, an elephant.

Our next chance to see the lights succeeded. Addison and I met Ian after he finished work on Wednesday the 14th. We had a quick dinner (outside!) and got to enjoy a light show with music and then a water fountain show with music.

This Christmas tune is ever-so-popular here and Addy loves it!

We enjoyed the lights and sights of Tokyo Dome City. It wasn't snowing, but I can pretend!
