Next stop - Tokyo Tower! Sure, it's touristy, but let's face it, we're extended-stay tourists. :) We've been close to the tower a few times, but hadn't ventured inside before. Tokyo Tower is 333 meters (1,092 feet) tall and modeled after the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Tokyo Tower opened in 1958 and has been the world's tallest self-supporting steel tower since. The Eiffel Tower is 320 meters high. The main observation deck of Tokyo Tower is 150 meters (492 feet) up. I decided to pay the extra money and travel to the special observation deck at 250 meters (820 feet). Ian and Addison decided to wait below.
First glimpse
Just like in Paris, crepes are sold at the base of the tower!
"BRR! It's cold outside!"
The view at 150 meters.

Same part of the city at 250 meters.
The view at 250 meters - city as far as you can see.

Totally awesomeLast stop for the day was Akihabara, the electronics district. If you're in need of electronic gadgets or gizmos, this is the place to come. Otherwise, it pretty much looks like the rest of the city. We did catch a couple of unusual sites which I've included here.
Nothin' but wire at this store!
Night lights
Nice lamps, eh?More wild than our own car elevator, we saw this car "Ferris wheel" in Akihabara.
