Get-together at Kinoshita-san's

Saturday, June 23rd Ian's coworker, Kinoshita, invited us for a get-together at his house. Four other families joined us. This was not our first meeting with these families. Last spring we had a BBQ party together. We had such a nice time and I was able to communicate much more than last year!

The Kinoshita family set up two kiddie pools on their balcony for the kids to play in. It was a hot and sunny day and the kids loved it. In this video Addy takes a dip with Kinoshita-san's son, and daughter (Yumehiro and Koharu) and Maekawa's older daughter (Riko). Sota-san is standing on the side helping to entertain the kids.

Somehow we convinced the kids to come inside for lunch. Take-out pizza and chicken gave all the ladies the day off from cooking - that was nice!

Addison also loved this kitchenette that Kinoshita-san's father made for Koharu. It was too cute to watch her play.

Riko celebrated her 4th birthday with us.

Agata-san loved to have Addison do this puzzle over and over. They must have done it a dozen times.

One last yawn and then out for the train ride home.
