Veritas

It is customary when we visit Virginia to patronize at least a couple of local wineries. This trip was no different. On Friday the 28th, we went to two. At the second one, Veritas, there were lots of leaves on the ground from the surrounding trees. In Tokyo it was very difficult to find large piles of leaves. The citizens of this large city rake the leaves up daily from the streets, the parks, everywhere. What American kid hasn't jumped into a big pile of leaves in the fall? So as we were leaving the winery, Addison got her first taste of this great autumn amusement. I only wish I had taken a little bit of video so you could hear her laughing too.

Bonus points to you if you know the Latin meaning of "veritas" without looking it up!
